Qualifications
Education And Experience (Must Be Documented)
High School Diploma (or GED)
Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college or university with major course work in Emergency management, Public Administration or a closely related field; or any combination of education and experience that provides equivalent knowledge, skills, and abilities.
Five (5) years progressively responsible experience in an office of emergency management, fire, police, emergency medical or emergency communications.
Completion of ICS 100, 200, 300, 700, 800 training.
Two -Five (2-5) years (or equivalent) Supervisory/Management experience is preferred.
Knowledge of all applicable emergency response laws, regulations, rules, and procedures.
Experience working with tribal governments or in a highly regulated industry (e.g., gaming, public utilities) is highly preferred.
