- Strong PA program practitioner with no less than 5 years of recent PA experience (closeout experience preferable but not required).
- Experience in all categories of work.
- Ability to prepare and review grants for final FEMA closeout, performing complete financial reconciliation of costs and validation of appropriate supporting documentation to justify subgrantee claims.
- Adept at dealing with large sets of data and documentation. Individuals with the traditional construction / engineering experience can perform well in this role, as well as those with a legal, accounting, financial, policy, or public administration background, as long as they understand expectations and have the desired skill set.
- Highly organized manager (they will be tracking multiple projects for closeout at once).
- Strong interpersonal and written communication skills.
- Able to navigate FEMA / State systems and virtual communication tools / platforms (e.g., FEMA Grants Portal, Salesforce, email, phone, Microsoft Teams).
