The County of Tuolumne Office of Emergency Services (OES) is looking to fill two vacant grant funded analyst positions. Our analysts provide preparedness before, and coordination direction during, large-scale emergencies and disasters. OES coordinates with partner agencies, special districts, and key private agencies in providing planning, response, recovery, and mitigation activities as a result of disaster related incidents.
This exciting opportunity is for the analyst who wishes to assist with the County’s emergency services and preparedness initiatives. As an Analyst, you will support the Office of Emergency Services under several grants to educate, encourage, develop and continue county-wide collaboration and coordination among various groups operating within Tuolumne County; assists with coordinating County emergency and disaster related efforts in budgeting, planning, response, recovery and hazard mitigation issues and preparedness activities; assists with collaboration with County departments, partner agencies and the public on emergency planning and response activities; assists with coordinating mutual aid services other than fire and law enforcement; supports lead agencies in emergency and disaster response; provides strategic and operational oversight to County agencies involved in emergency or disaster matters; prepares press releases and communicates the program strategy to the public; seeks grants to enhance and promote emergency preparedness and disaster recovery; assures compliance of all activities with County goals and objectives, State and Federal laws, and County policies and procedures; and performs other related duties as required.
